Angus Journal editor, Julie Mais, started her career with the Association in May 2018 but has been dedicated to working in the beef industry for member-driven organizations for the past 10 years.
This passion for livestock and agriculture was developed in her youth and time spent raising and showing registered cattle with her family.
Julie grew up in Warrensburg, Mo., and earned a bachelor’s degree from Kansas State University and a master’s degree from Oklahoma State University. She says her role as editor allows her to support Angus members by providing them with need-to-know information and marketing opportunities through print and digital media.
